ELIGIBILITY

TAC College vocational programs are offered in collaboration with the English Montreal School Board.

Age Requirement

Applicants must:

  • Be at least 16 years old by September 30 of the school year
  • Or be 18 years or older and meet additional admission requirements (if applicable)

Academic Requirements

Applicants must meet one of the following conditions:

  • Hold a Secondary School Diploma (DES) or equivalent
  • Have completed Secondary IV English, French, and Mathematics
  • Or pass the General Development Test (GDT) and any program-specific prerequisites

Some programs may require additional academic or language prerequisites.

Residency & Documentation

Applicants must provide valid identification and proof of Quebec residency, which may include:

  • Quebec Birth Certificate or Citizenship document
  • Permanent Resident Card or CSQ (if applicable)
  • Quebec Medicare Card
  • Social Insurance Number
  • Proof of Quebec address (lease, utility bill, etc.)

  • Meet with an academic advisor
  • Provide required documents
  • Receive confirmation of admission

Financial Assistance

Many vocational programs are publicly funded and may be tuition-free for eligible students. Government loans and bursaries may be available. Our team provides guidance throughout the application process.
